Our Vision
Cringleford CE VA Primary School aims to celebrate its diverse community by providing an inclusive education of the highest quality through the Christian beliefs of compassion and courage.
“I have come to give life, life in all its fullness.”
John 10.10
We aim for our pupils to have:
- a good understanding of the meaning of faith in Jesus Christ and our core Christian values
- an enquiring mind and love for learning
- a sense of personal achievement and pride in their school and community.
Being a Church School
We are proud to be a Church school – one that is well supported by the Diocese of Norwich Board of Education. One of the key aims of the Diocese and the Church of England is to enable children, and their families, to flourish. That means equipping children with the emotional and academic skills and resources to help form their aspirations, and providing the support and nurture to set them on they way to achieving them.
That means challenging them academically, but also spiritually, physically, artistically and technically. Our school strives to provide a rich curriculum which helps to develop the character and talents of every young person.
We aim to promote high academic standards combined with Christian values to foster creativity, confidence and compassion, in order to develop wisdom, knowledge and skills.
The school is open to all and accepting of all, regardless of faith.
What is a Voluntary Aided (VA) School?
Voluntary Aided (VA) Schools are a type of state-funded school. The majority of governors are appointed by the Church. Staff are employed directly by the governing body. Most of the school’s funding comes direct from the Local Authority with some from central government.
